Brethren, do you know that your answer to the question above will solve all the issues of your life provided you get the answer right.
What is your answer. There is only one answer. That answer solves all problems and gives you direction and template for your life, conduct, business, ministry.
What is your answer.
The answer is simple. Heaven .
Brethren, if Heaven is your goal, you will live your life according to God’s word as stated in the Bible. Nobody will force you to come to Church during the week for weekly services so that you can learn more about where you are going. Nobody will tell you not to commit sin because you know that no sinner will be in Heaven. Nobody will tell you to remove unforgiveness or bitterness from your life because anyone harbouring unforgiveness or bitterness will not get there. Nobody will tell you to evangelise because you will know that your duty is to please the one who called you and the will of God is for all sinners to come to repentance and you should tell people about Christ either in words or conduct everyday telling them about the good news, sharing your testimonies, praying for people, assisting the needy within your means etc. Physician heal thyself! Are you doing it? Yes sir. I am doing it to the glory of God.
Brethren, let your focus be heaven. Let your focus be on things of God.
Stop allowing the devil to cheat you. God is not telling you to resign from your secular job if He has not told you personally to do so.
As you continue in your secular job, create time for things of God, be heavenly focused.
As I compose this text, I am listening to Cece Winnas ( the track titled And the angels cry Holy, Holy forever) on my laptop. I guess you know her colleague. Whitney Houston. They all started from the Church as Choir members. Nobody is judging anybody. I am just led to make this comparison so that some of us can wake up to things of God. Let those who has ears ear what the spirit of God is telling the Church. Cece Winnas is still standing today. May God have mercy on us..the Living. You will continue to stand in Jesus name. Find out what happened to Whitney Houston. Sad commentaries. Remember, Samson also. Sad commentaries. That will not be your portion in Jesus name.
Brethren, please wake up. Kayode, wake up! Don’t allow your business or work to take you away from the things of God.
Yesterday, I was informed that a rich man died in my hometown leaving behind six cars. He did not take them away. We came empty. We shall go empty.
Use every avenue that comes your way to talk to people about Christ, pray for people that come your way on a daily basis. If possible, offer assistance, financial or otherwise as led so that they can feel the presence of God.
Brethren, let your focus be heaven. Let your purpose for being a Christian be heaven. The moment you know this, it will affect your mindset positively and give you a compass on how to live your life.
Imagine if members of the Church has that focus, heaven? Imagine if workers in the church has that focus, heaven? Imagine if all Ministers has that focus, heaven?
Please, this is the time to wake up so that we can enjoy our Christian life and focus on God. Look at the testimony of the owner of Colgate toothpaste. Remember my friend, Joseph of Arimethea. Who says you cannot serve God in comfort. He said “if they obey and serve me, they will spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure”. The key word is obey and serve Him. Just obey and serve Him and see the results yourself.
You can focus on heaven and serve God in comfort. That’s my desire. That’s my desire for you. Talk to God. Ask Him to make you His treasurers. He will give you the resources. He is doing it. Even in JESUS THE WAY, He is doing it for those who are sensitive. I have proofs.
Please let’s wake up. If heaven is your goal, you won’t mess up your life as a youth, single sister or single brother. Nobody will tell you to stop stealing or sleeping around when you are not married because that’s not part of Heavens values.
Christianity is interesting and enjoyable if your focus is heaven.
Change your orientation. This world will come to an end one day. We can’t be here forever. Wake up from slumber. Be focused on things of God. The Master said ” I must do the will of Him that sent me”. The will of God for your life is to live a Holy life (life of obedience), ensure you live your life according to God’s word as stated in the Bible, talk to people about Christ, tell them your testimonies.
I want you to check the life of people not living their lives according to God’s word as stated in the Bible. They are not happy. If you are concerned, God is telling you, come to me. Identify that issue, be bold to right the wrong. You cannot be living in that denial and expect intervention from God. It doesn’t work. You will just be spending money for prayer contractors. Don’t forget foundation. Check your foundation on that issue and right the wrong. Don’t forget restitution. Check what you need to restitute and restitute.
Talk to yourself. Christian life is interesting and not difficult.
It doesn’t mean you won’t have problems if your focus is heaven. Ask yourself, is there anyone in this world that does not have problems? None! As long as we are in this world, there would be problems. There would be issues of life. It’s part of the journey. But the good news is that because your focus is heaven and you are living your life according to God’s word, Jesus is in your boat . He is in the boat of your life and will still (calm) every storm and take you to your destination (which is heaven).
Brethren, please wake up. Ensure you share your testimony with someone today and everyday. Ensure you mention Jesus to someone today and everyday. Create time for things of God. Attend weekly services. Allow your children to attend weekly services. It is in your own interest so that you will enjoy your night. The Master said “the night cometh when no man can work”.
In everything, let your focus be heaven. It is my prayers that God will enlarge His word in your heart and enlarge it in my heart also today and everyday in Jesus name.
