Expect something new from the Lord

A new thing simply means doing things in different ways and getting favourable result. Isaiah 43:18-19 says ” Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert “
Every now and then God decides to change the status quo and He does something new, sometimes different from what we’re already used to and beyond our expectations to prove to us that He’s the Almighty. The children of Israel were in captivity for 430years and God decides it’s time to bring them out from slavery and he sent Moses because He has heard the cry of His people. (Exodus 3:7-9). That was the beginning of a new thing for the children of Israel. Have you been in perpetual financial, emotional, psychological or mental slavery in the hands of demonic task masters? I declare your total freedom right now by the authority in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree a new chapter of good tidings, blessings and supernatural enlargement and favour for you and your entire household this new year and beyond in Jesus name.
Malachi was the last prophet we know in the Old Testament for about 400yrs. Then suddenly John the Baptist started preaching in the wilderness, baptizing everyone. Matt 3:1-3. It was the beginning of a new visitation and dispensation. The coming of Jesus Christ to this world is a gift to the world and that’s the greatest new hope and new thing God gives to mankind. In this month which commemorate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, may you experience a significant new thing that will announce you and your household positively to the world in Jesus name. After the death of Jesus Christ, the coming of the Comforter (Holy Spirit) is another new beginning. Acts 1:4-8. I pray the Holy Spirit guide you through the right path this season of good news in Jesus name. There are many new beginnings in the scriptures. However, every new beginning is activated in the place of prayers. Without prayer there can be no new thing or next level. As we give ourselves to prayers continually this season, there shall be an upspring of new thing in our lives, families and the church of God in Jesus name.
The following are some new things you should expect in your life as you live a life of obedience to God and His word. First, expect a new Spirit. As children of God, we must walk in the newness of heart and renew a right spirit within us which must reflect in our everyday life. Remember if any man is in Christ, he’s a new creature, old things are passed away Ezekiel 11:19, Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Second, you must expect a new covenant. You must enter into a new covenant of commitment and dedication to the Lord. Jeremiah. 31:31-32. Third, you must expect a new blessing. God will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert of your lives. Isaiah 43:18-19. Four, you must expect a new anointing. The new anointing will teach you all things and how to navigate your ways as a child of God 1 John 2:27. Five, you must expect a new glory. You will move from Glory to glory 2 Corinthians 3:18
Brethren, to obtain new things from the Lord in this new Year and beyond, you must remain positive as children of God and expect nothing less than the beginning of new things in your family, life and nation not minding what we see or feel happening around us. We must avoid negative thought and cast them out of our mind permanently in Jesus name. You must be ready to live a life of total obedience and total commitment to God and His word. Please don’t give up. A new hope and new thing is about to begin in your life in Jesus name.
