Please don’t join the debate of not paying tithes!

Do you know what they are saying? They are asking you to stop paying tithes. Can you imagine that? I want to ask a simple question. If all believers stopped paying tithes and you leave the issue to the discretion of believers, how will the Church of God be maintained? What about the salaries of Church workers and Pastors? Who will be paying those salaries? What about corporate social responsibility (CSR) of the Church? Where will the money be coming from? How will the church take care of the poor and the needy in the community? What about evangelical work of the Church? How will they be financed? How will the children of God enjoy the accompanied blessings attached to obedience to God’s word? There are so many questions. Please do not listen to them. Don’t join them. You need to look at the lives of those asking you to stop paying tithes. You may not know what they are going through spiritually, physically, financially, health wise. For every word of God you obey, there is blessing attached to it. The same thing for every word of God you disobey, there are consequences (punishment) attached to it. The choice is yours if you want blessings or punishment?
Let’s look at what the Bible says in Malachi 3:10-12. The Bible says as follows: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed; for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts”.
The instruction in Malachi 3:10 is just like any other instruction in the Bible. The blessings attached to it is real and working in the lives of believers. Devourers are real and you need to comply with Malachi 3:10 to avoid devourers in your life and finances and enjoy the blessings stated in Malachi 3:10-13. Personally, I see tithes payment as spiritual insurance. God cannot lie. He said if you pay tithes, you will enjoy the following:
- He will open the windows of heaven for you.
- He will pour you a blessing
- You will not have enough room to receive it.
- He will rebuke the devourer for your sakes.
- The devourer shall not destroy the fruits of your ground
- Your vine shall not cast her fruit before time in the field
- All nations shall call you blessed.
- You shall be a delightsome land.
You need to ask the Holy Spirit to interpret the meaning of those eight (8) benefits to you. If you start or continue paying your tithes and begin to mediate on those 8benefits, you will be surprised how God will enlarge the meaning in your hearts. God expects you to pay your tithes to the place where you are being fed spiritually. You have a choice to pay tithes or refuse to pay. If you join them and stop paying your tithes, please don’t tell me anything about devourers in your life because God’s word is truth. Devourers are real. Start paying your tithes from today and avoid devourers.
